No they have not any alcoholic drinks.
Don't know about specific low sodium dishes, You could ask them for low sodium when you order and they do accommodate it for most dishes. At least in my experience. But some dishes are made of pre-marinated stuff and there is nothing you could do about them.
two days ago was our first time we went to this magnificent restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the good service, with the exceptional food and fine drinks and with the comfortable pay. We will absolutely come back again.
Woaww. Just woaw. That schewan sauce man... Was magnificen... The only thing i didn't like about the place is that the schewan sauce was never enough, but just to be honest when is enough schewan sauce in life... I must go again. Sooooooooonnn...
Authentic chinese food, friendly homey service, good prices. Can be a wait o weekends.
Been here many times. Consistently excellent. If you head up or down Rt 3 from Boston to NH its worth a detour to stop here.
Great authentic Sichuan food. The Fish Filet with Green Peppercorns is nicely numbing. The Dan Dan Noodles were very good.
Incredible flavors, very tight seating. The location is in a strip mall and during peak hours the tables are full and you are often elbow to elbow. The authentic menu has some delicious options and some very spicy dishes. Don't go if you are expecting Chinese-American cooking. Expect to try traditional delicacies prepared well with some great flavor.
This restaurant is so good! I frequently went with my family (twice a month) before the pandemic. The service was really fast and the food was high quality. I especially recommend a dish called "Shi zi tou" or "lion's head" pork meatballs.
Ok portions were very small prices were high probably cuz of the pandemic going on they were the only open Rick's Cafe is way better
This chef has blown me away with texture, and flavor! From the perfect crispness of the crab rangoon, to the green beans soaked with citrus , Herbs, and ginger. Bravo!!!!!
Page after page of delicious-sounding menu items takes a while to read. Spicy dishes are rated from no pepper icons to three. I thought I tolerated spicy foods well, but after eating the one-pepper-rated Chinese eggplant, I'm glad I didn't get anything with three peppers. My plan was to try that dish as the entrée and then order some others, but there was so much, I couldn't even finish what I had. It was just the right amount of spice for me, which let the succulent texture and sweetness of the eggplant come through, and the crispness of the sweet green pepper and carrots was perfect. I took home what I couldn't finish, including the brown rice. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. It's an hour-and-a-half from me, but I will be back.
If the asian community dines here, it must be delicious. Fresh authentic food, Always hot. Been a weekly customer for their lunch General Tsos chicken for 2 yrs now.
I've been dining at this restaurant for years now so it's really disappointing for me to write a negative review like this. My friend and I love the food at Sichuan Gourmet, but recently my friend went without me (I am Chinese, he is not) and was racially profiled while picking up his takeout order. The white woman in front of him picked up her order and left with no problem. When he went, the lady at the front instantly grew suspicious and asked if that food was his. He said yes, and pointed that his name was written on the bag. However she didn't believe him and asked him to show his ID or there will be no food. The experience was extremely embarassing, as everyone in the restaurant could see what was happening. As a business, Sichuan Gourmet needs to do better. If you want to cater to all customers, do not hold racially implicit biases towards people who are just trying to support your business. This is not the type of customer service I would want from a restaurant.
The best Chinese restaurant in 10 miles of radius from Lowell. The food is little spicy in southern Chinese style, cold noodles, cashew chicken, Fish filet is amazing.
Went with friends for a non traditional & un conventional Christmas lunch!!!! I'm glad I did!
Love this place.
The dining area is not very large, but the food is great! I really love the beef tendon and noodles here. Be careful of the spice if you don't do too well with spicy foods.
Good, spicy Sichuan food. Great for eating family style (sharing). Awkward if everyone orders their own plate, as the dishes are brought to the table haphazardly, as they are ready.
The most authentic Szechuan food in the US, if not the entire world.I’m hooked on their Sichuan cold noodles, spicy enough to burn your lips!Try the suggested specials if you’re looking for authentic, dry fish, hot pots, garlic chicken, cold noodles..They have ‘off the menu’ secret dishes if you know what to ask for!Peapod leaves is one of them..
Spicy authentic Chinese food. Love it. Had this good kung bao chicken after so long
Delicious food, especially for people who have strong taste buds. A lot of Indian people I know love this place. Prices are reasonable too. This is the place to go for authentic Sichuan food lovers.
Test good but it comes little cold and not cook well..
This place surpasses every Chinese/Sichuan restaurant I've ever been to. Every dish I've gotten has been so good. The spicier the better.
Simply no words. Best Chinese we have ever had.
Food is pretty good, not the best but it's good. The crab rangoons are amazing. The servers are friendly and attentive. Place is decent. It's not fancy or anything, it's just casual. It'ss not like some of those hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurants.
Delicious and fast. Our go to place.
The food has been going downhill. Maybe I picked the wrong dishes but they are all quite disappointing. New authentic seekers be aware.
This place is my favored. I go to many restaurants but here I go the most. The crew is very cordial and the food they cook is so yummy. I am always happy to have a good meal here. I highly recommend this place.
Love this place, great spicy food!
Pretty cozy place but great authentic food. Eat-in or to-go, really tasty sichuan food
Never dissapointed at this place. Tastes the same always. If you are craving spicy food this is the best place. Our favorite Dan Dan noodles( veg) and dried chicken with chilli .
Jin Gu Fish Filets is one of our favorites. Entree is price $22.95, but the portions are very less. Earlier the box used to be full but now it is not even half. Quality and Quantity seems to be compromised recently. It is disappointing to see that a $78.00 takeout is not even sufficient for 2 adults and 2 kids.
Best Chinese food in all of New England. Skip typical American Chinese dishes like Kung Pao and General Tsao's and go straight for the traditional dishes.
Great experience at Sichuan Gourmet ~ good service and delicious food. We had the pork lo mein, dried chicken with chilis (so yummy and crunchy), and pork meatballs. Will definitely be returning!
I like this spot! They offer tasty food, their menu is varied, The chef in that restaurant is well trained, I like a lot eating all their food. The dishes are consistently of high qualtity, the attitude towards the customers is very good too. I go often to this place and I was never discontended. I recommend it to all my friends.
Not as good as it used to be. Its just another decent place and nothing more to say than that.
This is by far the best Sichuan food I have ever had. The fact that it has been this good for this long is impressive.
Pork fried rice is not their specialty. It was soaked in soy sauce and really dark brown. Maybe too authentic for my taste??
Best KungPao chicken I can find in Boston area. Very authentic Szechuan as far as I can tell. Another site in Burlington just north of mall; not quite as good and considerably more expensive.
Authentic Szechuan that’s amazing. Clean and simple decor. Service is great, but is more the Chinese style of service than the American. They get you what you want, everyone helps together, and they’re no muss no fuss.
Amazing Sichuan food. Easily the best in the Boston area. You should order the steamed pork belly and the cold spicy noodles.
This place has been around for a long time and the quality of the good stays the same. Fast efficient service and tasty spicy food. What more can you ask for.
Best Chinese food North of Boston. I have been eating there for many many years. I've been to China and I've been to Hong Kong. This restaurant has been consistently very very good.A choice of food both dinner and lunch it's very appetizing. I have never seen anybody complain and I've never complained. It's in a strip mall but visible off the road. It is very accessible. The dining area is very comfortable. The service is very nice. The manager is very kind. Parking is free. While many things have changed in my life, my experience in this restaurant has always been consistently good.As before, I recommend this restaurant to others and I'm sure the diners Will not be disappointed. It gets crowded early so make your plans accordingly.
They take their name, food and the description of the food seriously. It tastes as they say it tastes. And, every dish on the menu is lip smacking! This is not the usual Chinese restaurant that we see in every corner offering the same items. Definitely worth becoming a regular
Service was good, food was good. If you enjoy spicy food, it's a good place to go. Xiang La Dry Fish is good.
Went today after wondering why this place is still here. Still wondering at least my curiosity is satisfied.
Small place, very tight seating. As the waitress just about to put my bowl of tofu soup on the table, a fly dived right into it. She immediately took away the soup (which was nice) but brought me a "new" one a minute later. I tuned it away (for obvious concerns) without any problems. The service was average but the food was below average. The dishes were way too greasy. A thick layer of oil just covered every parts of the dishes. It seemed that everything were seasoned with salt and hot pepper only. There were no other flavor present.
This is the best Asian restaurant I have ever eaten at and that is saying a lot. The tangerine shrimp is filled with almost too big for bitesize shrimp, fresh steamed broccoli and a spicy tangerine sauce that is out of this world.
This spot is worth trying. They have big portions for fair prices. Regularly well organized and with great atmosphere. Will come visit again.
Authentic Chinese cuisine. Highly recommend!
We were told approximately 30 minutes wait time for take-out service and then continuously told a few more minutes when we arrived for pick-up... 2 hours later no food and very rude customer service and also asked are you sure you called here... many other customers waiting as well... good for them for being so busy during these times... however don’t tell your customers 30 mins and keep them waiting patiently for 2 hours and then be rude!!! Had enough finally left... they didn’t seem to care to lose our business... on Mother’s Day of all days to be rude to someone...
